Happy New Years From GIR!
As we dive headfirst into 2014, we would like to remind you all to always ensure that your roof is in good condition before anything bad happens. Hurricane season will be here before you know it, get your roofing done well before-hand to ensure the safety of your home and your family.
If it has been a while since your last roof inspection, you may want to have a professional come out to take a peek at your roof and see what kind of work may need to be done. Here are some signs that you may be in need of a new roof.
1-Missing shingles. You can see this from the ground, and missing shingles are the most tell tale sign of roof damage that homeowners can pick up on.
2-Leaks. Whether you discover it from the inside or the outside, having a roof leak can turn into a huge problem if a large storm hits. Be sure to call your roofer asap if you have any sort of moderate to severe roof leak.
3-How long has it been since you got your roof replaced. Generally, roofs last anywhere from 20-30 years. If you know you have had the same roof on your home since 1902, you may want to consider having a new roof installed.
Always be sure you are dealing with a professional roofer. We see all too many cases of lazy roofers that get business by lies. We pride ourselves on honest, quality work, and our roofs reflect this.
